Surprisingly, a multitude of zoos house capybaras. Online sources may be misleading, Google’s updates arrive daily, and capybaras are frequently relocated between zoos without much notice. This is where your assistance is invaluable. Could you kindly aid the Farm Manager by informing her of any updates? If you submit photos, I can persuade her to create a gallery. Keeping this list accurate will save us from receiving complaints about incorrect information. Let’s be realistic—you get what you pay for.
Japan has a plethora of zoos with capybaras, too many to be mentioned individually. Frankly, almost every zoo in Japan seems to have them. I’ll be more than happy to update this list if you inform me about your sightings.
